Dr. Valerie Heartsfield
Dr. Heartsfield started off her medical career as a registered nurse. She attended Einstein Nursing School and worked in the field as a nurse for 22 years. She then attended and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's veterinary medicine program in 1996. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 17 years. She enjoys working in private practice as well as with shelter animals.
Dr. Virginia LaMon
Medical Director

Dr. Lamon graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and has a special interest in feline medicine. She looks forward to building a relationship with you and your pets!
Dr. Melinda Spicer
Dr. Melinda Spicer has been a practicing veterinarian since 2015. After completing her undergraduate degree in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University, Dr. Spicer attended St. George’s University for her veterinary training and completed her clinical training at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Spicer’s top priority is providing an excellent standard of care to her patients while keeping both owners and their companions comfortable and at ease. At home, Dr. Spicer has an 8 year old silky terrier dog named Truman and a 3 year old domestic shorthair cat named Jackson. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing guitar, and traveling.
